Hi Caite, good, I’m so glad you found me and I hope these are some good tips to help you get started. Yes, I have a BA degree in English literature, and an MBA too. Freelancing lets me use all of that!

This post really struck a chord with me – you’ve got another subscriber! I’ve been doing a lot of research about starting a MilSpouse/travel blog. Like you, I’d like to make it a profitable use of my time…but it just didn’t really seem achievable. I am not overly excited about affiliate marketing, ads, etc, but I would sure love to just (or mostly) write! Thanks for the advice. Do you have a degree in English or writing/journalism?
