You’re very welcome! Yes, I hate how the career talks always have to happen during deployment, when there isn’t great communication. That plus a new baby is like the perfect storm! Good luck with the birth, and I hope you can make a decision together about the military career!

Currently awaiting our first to be born (1 week from today is her due date!) We are also currently going through deployment #1 and my husband informed me that it’s time to “have the talk” about reenlistment. Military life is funny like that. You hurry up and wait (the calm before the storm) and everything ends up happening all at once.

Thank you for writing this, it was what I needed to read at the moment.
