Well, we had to do long drives–around 6 to 8 hours of driving each day. We stopped for meals, and took time with those stops, but don’t usually do other stops because each one eats up a little of time with young kids.
After a few long days of driving, it was nice to break it up with a full day break of camping and hiking.
