This is a guest post by Melissa Nauss of Stars and Stripes Doulas. I’m happy to have her voice on the blog today! Stars and Stripes Doulas is a partnership that pairs a professional doula with an expecting mother. I have written before about why I used a doula when I had to deliver a baby during deployment. I asked Melissa to share some up-to date pregnancy resources for military spouses. Enjoy!

my son in law in army and daughter is due jan and don’t know how to get her the things she needs i can’t buy it all they are in Germany
Many online shipping companies like Amazon or Walmart have an option to ship to overseas FPO military address. See if you can click FPO for the city and AE for the state to ship to a military address on base.
Also, the Germany bases have a large PX with baby items, clothes, furniture, etc. If you send them Visa gift cards, they can purchase what they need from the PX.
Finally, encourage your daughter to look at the Facebook sales groups for her base. There is one for the American families, and someone is always selling maternity clothes, cribs, and gently-used baby gear at a discount.
